Bomerano, a small village in the upper hills above Conca dei Marini is a lovely alpine-like town above the Amalfi Coast. It is also the starting point of the famous and fabulous Path of the Gods.

Bomerano is a cute "little Switzerland" located below the mountains between Sorrento and Amalfi, that the "Sentiero degli Dei" (the Path of Gods) crosses towards Arienzo di Positano (about 1 Km from Positano). Of course, you can also do the path "in reverse" starting in Positano or Nocelle and ending in Bomerano.

The town is a pretty, well-kept place of clean streets and friendly people. It's a hiker's paradise, because there are several trails that depart from here. It's worth a visit as a contrast to the better-known (and more crowded) coastal towns, and as a way to get up in the cooler air. There are several restaurants and cafes to complete your day trip.
