A marine park and water park south of Rome that appeals to kids and adults alike. Located between Ostia and Anzio in Torvaianica, Zoo Marine showcases marine animals and lets kids swim like fish in the pools and water slides!

Show arenas include areas for dolphins, sea lions, and seals. There is a theater for acrobatic diving demonstrations, and a parrot house, too. The water park areas feature water slides, swimming pools, a river ride and a water-born pirate ship game. There is a roller coaster for thrills and a 4-D cinema, too. Snack bars and a restaurant are scattered around the park. There are some themed shops, and lockers are available for your valuables and clothes if you want to swim.

A shuttle transports visitors from Roma Termini station to the Zoo Marine park at a cost of €12 roundtrip. It operates from daily July 1 through September 4, and on weekends in April, May, September and October.

Alternatively, you can take public transit using the Rome metro line to Laurentina and then a Cotral bus to Torvaianica at a cost of €3.70 each way. (€1.50 for the metro ticket and €2.20 for the Cotral ticket.)

See the ZooMarine website for details on park hours and costs.
