Winery Michele Calo' e Figli

A family winery in the Salento, Michele Calo' and Sons produce some of Puglia's classic wines. The vines are distributed throughout the area of Tuglie, Alezio, Parabita and Sannicola for the best exposure and growing conditions for each varietal. They use the area's famous Negroamaro, Primitivo and Verdecca to make hearty reds, nice -bodied roses and classic white wine. They also produce olive oil (of course, this is Puglia!) and grappa.
