A museum of religious art that also gives a glimpse into history. The Museo dell'Arte Sacra in Castellabate is showcase for regional religious works that are restored and displayed, from various churches, monasteries and other structures around Campania. The founder, Monsignor Farina says it is "a tangible testimony of the popular religious nature of the community of Castellabate and an expression of the faith here that has ancient roots in the Greek-Italian monasticism of the Benedictines". It is, in short, both a religious and historic journey.

The museum displays a variety of paintings, tapestries, statues, furnishings and sacred items, along with liturgical texts originating from the Kingdom of Naples, the Papal States and the Republic of Venice. It is located in the pedestrian lanes of the historic center of Castellabate, near the church of Santa Maria Assunta. The Sacred Art Museum also offers guided tours of the historic center of Castellabate to visitors.

Open daily from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
