Trail Coda di Volpe to Tyndaris

A trail that for centuries has connected the hilltop Syndaris with the port below, it later became a pilgrimage path to the sanctuary. Whether you start at Tindari above or the Laghetti di Marinello below, the views are stunning and worth the walk.

The trail is about 6 kilometers long and runs through the Mediterranean macchia shrubs. There are magnificent views of the Gulf, of the Eolian islands, and the unique lagoons of Marinello. It is a stunning walk. The trail is dirt with rough steps but hemmed by wooden rails. It is well marked.
