In the middle of the Tuscan coastline, lies Tirrenia. Totally immersed in nature and located at a few kilometers from cities like Livorno and Pisa, Tirrenia enjoys a really fertile area. There are four main elements marking out its great position:

  1. a lovely sea where to practice any kind of water sport;
  2. a green Mediterranean pine grove, suitable for relaxing walks on foot, by bicycle or on horseback;
  3. a navigable river, where pleasure-boats find parking and assistance all year long;
  4. it is easily reachable from the nearby airport of Pisa, the port of Livorno and related highway entrances.

There is a typical Mediterranean climate, which makes every season just pleasant and proper, with richly colored days in spring, hot and luminous summers, relaxing autumns. It is particularly frequented in summer, offering fully equipped beach resorts. You can practice sports like beach-volley, sailing, underwater fishing, tennis, football, golf, horse rising, taking advantage of the numerous sport centers surrounded by luxuriant landscapes.

You may choose daily excursions like: a visit to "Bocca d'Arno", with its "retoni" (large fishing balances), facing the curve of San Rossore overlooked by the stunning Apuan Alps; the natural Park of San Rossore, with the horse stables close to the the homonym hippodrome; the nearby Tuscan archipelago and immense historic and artistic heritage of the close Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Firenze, Siena and manifold smaller villages to be discovered.
