An fairly easy hike is also listed as one of Italy's most panoramic walks, wending its way from Maiori to Minori among the coast's famous lemon groves. You only need some sturdy shoes and a camera to capture the jaw-dropping views along the way! The path was the mode of transportation along the coast before the state road was built; a mule path between the towns along the steep hillside.

There are a few options for you, depending on how much walking you want to do. There will be some up-and-down of stairs and elevation change as you go along the steep terraces, but it's not too tiring and the path is well-marked.

Option 1) The path starts in Maiori, next to the collegiate church of Santa Maria a Mare and the stairs of Via Vena. The path takes you through the town with its brilliant ceramic domes and then leads you out to the terraced olive and lemon groves with arbors. It passes along spectacular views the whole way, to the village of Torre, and then continues on downhill to Minori. This walk talks about one hour (but you can go slow and enjoy it longer!)

You can stop in Minori and take the bus back to Maiori, or you can continue on the path in reverse to get back.

Option 2) Start as above in Maiori. You will reach the borgo-hamlet of Torre on the promontory, and beyond it you can choose to make a longer trip by choosing the branch that leads to Ravello. Continuing this way, you'll have a 9 kilometer walk in all, that will take you about 5 hours to reach Minori, after reaching Ravello and then descending to the final point. From there you can take a bus back to Maiori, or make it a full-day hike and complete the loop on foot!
