What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in quality and price. Located in the hamlet of Scala, in the Amalfi hills above Ravello, this unassuming restaurant serves regional home cooking fare. The impepata di cozze is a local favorite (mussels cooked in a peppery broth). Residents from the coastal towns come here for the excellent pizza and the lemon ricotta cheesecake.
