The restaurant Il Vicolo della Neve is aptly named the "antica pizzeria" (old pizzeria) - because it's the oldest eatery in Salerno. Located in a little alley street in the historic center, they've been serving pizza, calzone, and the specialties of Salerno for 200 years. In the rustic rooms with stone and brick accents you can enjoy the Neapolitan style pizzas, along with down-home style regional dishes such as Ciambotta (vegetable and egg based recipe), stuffed peppers and pasta e fagioli.
