Pasticceria Donna Peppina

Donna Peppina is legendary in Sicily. The historic pastry shop opened in 1924 and is still going strong, serving Sicilian delicacies like cassata, cannoli, cakes and cookies - a variety of them made from local ingredients like pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts, pine nuts, or lemon.

The Donna Peppina became the first caffe' in Zafferana Etnea and is still a central meeting spot. The internal garden gives it a great atmosphere, or else just stand at the bar and order the sweets with a frothy cappuccino.
