Cute country-style restaurant in the hamlet of Cerreto Guidi, near Vinci (the birthplace of Leonardo) and Empoli, in the hills west of Florence. Here you'll find genuine Tuscan cooking at reasonable prices in a nice atmosphere. Terracotta tiles, brick arched ceilings, warm colors and linen tablecloths make the place feel cozy and special.

Try the tortina di verdure (vegetable torte) nestled on top of cheese sauce. The scamerita briaca - pork cooked in red wine- is a local favorite.

Osteria Santi Saccenti is closed on Wednesdays and Saturday at lunch (but open Saturday for dinner).
