An organic winery that produces one wine, and does it very well, in the hills of Campania outside San Carlo. The Galardi winery is located at the foot of Mt. Roccamonfino, an extinct volcano, which enriched the land with its minerals, making the soil fertile and perfect for grape production. The family decided to focus on the two heritage varietals from this area, Aglianico and Piedirosso, uniting them in the perfect blend to create an excellent wine.

The name Terra di Lavoro (land of work) is apt not just for the labors they invest in their wine and olive oil, but in their love for the area's history; during the Kingdom of Naples this zone was called Terra di Lavoro. The vineyard is at 500 meters above sea level, where it gets air filtering down from the mountains as well as breezes from the Gulf of Gaeta. Their singular wine is aged in oak barrels for a year, and has been recognized and lauded by Gambero Rosso, Wine Spectator, Veronelli and Wine Advocate.
