Stresa Lake Maggiore Cable Car

From the lake to the mountain in 20 minutes, the tramway from Stresa to Mt Mottarone is a must. You will go from 205 meters above sea level to 1,491 meters above sea level, with 360' breathtaking views. Mt Mottarone is called "the balcony over northern Italy" and you'll quickly see why: views extend to the Po Valley plains, the peaks of the Alps and across seven alpine lakes. It is one of the most panoramic places in the country!

The tram also connects to Alpino and Botanical Garden Alpinia, and to the chairlift to Alpyland, a bobsled-type ride that open year-round.
