You can reach the charming Santa Croce beach only by boat, which makes even more alluring. There are "shuttle" boats from the port in Amalfi at a cost; or you can reserve at one of the two restaurants and use their private boat service to get there. Both restaurants also rent umbrellas and chairs, so you could reserve that, as well (or instead).

Actually Santa Croce offers two beaches divided by a small rocky promontory, but as a matter of fact linked through a large tunnel. The beach is about one hundred metres long and south-facing. You can enjoy a great sunbath until early afternoon. Sea water is always crystalline.

The ferry service schedule can be found here. The restaurants are called Ristorante da Teresa, and Ristorante Santa Croce.
