With tables in a cloister-like courtyard of warm stone and convivial atmosphere, this Sermoneta restaurant isn't just charming, it's also delicious. The chef is noted for a sauce that has ancient origins with local Cistercian monks, called "trombolotto". It is made with an heirloom variety of lemon grown in the area and the sauce and use of trombolotto in this restaurant is much heralded. It's worth the trip just to try it! Of course, there are plenty of other great choices on the menu, as well, all special takes on regional recipes.
