Punta Lunga Beach

A protected cove with a nice sandy beach that is hemmed in by long reefs which give the cove its name "punta lunga" (long point). The longer reef has a wooden trabocco at the end, an old-time fishing platform, that adds to the area's appeal. The beach has sand backed by woods, and feels secluded. THe water is clear and clean, and shallow; it progressively deepens. There is a concession that will provide beach services, including umbrellas and sun beds, a bar and snacks. There is plenty of free public access beach, as well. Snorkelers will enjoy the reefs.
