Poggio della Dogana Winery

Sample the local wines made from organically-grown grapes at the Poggio della Dogana Winery. The winery is so-named as the location, Terra del Sole, marked the confines between Romagna (Papal States) and the Grand-duchy of Tuscany (the Medici rulers).

The winery uses Sangiovese for the reds, and Albana and Trebbiano Bombino heritage grapes for the whites.
