Hidden among almond and lemon groves, there are sand dunes dotted with wild thyme and shrubs, palms and wild orchids. It is found at the north entrance of the Riserva di Vendicari, after crossing the mouth of the Tellaro stream.

The beach is an expanse in a nature reserve without concession services. Bring your umbrella and blanket. It offers a mix of sand and pebbles interrupted by lava rock sections. It's a "wild" more natural seaside, less crowded and for that reason it is sometimes favored by the "au natural" fans (meaning it might not be the best choice for families with small kids!) although you can spread out and find our own tranquil spot.
