This is a very small market that takes up an entire street in the very heart of Prati (popular quarter in Rome). It is a bit expensive indeed, but you will easily find true choiceness.

Vittorio's stand is famous all over Rome for its excellent quality. Many of the most exclusives restaurant of the eternal city stock up on fresh high-quality products only there. If you are a curious tourist, well here you will be able to satisfy some of your whims, trying some French blue potatoes, turnip-rooted celery, discovering the delicious flavour of wild chicory and misticanza.

A few stands away “Panparapan” is a sort of 'bread-land': you will find every type of bread, such as potatoes, spelt, sweetcorn or unleavened bread, even though their speciality is the so-called thin 'Pizza Bianca', with coarse salt on top.

The market is open from Monday to Saturday.
