I Monasteri Golf Club

Near Siracusa, there is a beautiful and challenging golf course so you can keep your game on while traveling. It's set on in the grounds of a former monastery, amidst a plantation of orange, mandarin, and lemon trees, and prickly pear cactus (called "Indian figs" here). The course is an 18-hole, par 71, designed by David and Vincenzo Mezzacane.

There are the usual trappings - a driving range, putting green, carts and trolley rentals, and golf club rentals. The club house has a locker room and showers, a bar and restaurant, and there is a pool.
