Frassanito Beach

Just north of the charming town of Otranto you'll find the ideal place to soak in the crystalline waters of the Adriatic in relative peace. The beach of Frassanito offers fine white sand outlined by golden rocks which offer a lovely contrast and backdrop to the beach. It is the Salento's defining beauty. It is breezy here, making it a good place for windsurfers.

The beach is backed by short pines and Mediterranean scrub, giving it a more natural effect. There are large swaths of free beach along with concessions that rent umbrellas and lounge chairs.
