Festival dei Mondi

As Frederick II was called the Stupor Mundi (wonder of the world) for his advanced ideas and knowledge, the Festival dei Mondi seeks to bring together the bright and interesting ideas of the world in one festival.
Held in northern Puglia at the end of August and beginning of September, it is a "moving feast" of art and culture, hosted in beautiful buildings and courtyards around the town of Andria, with some of the events taking place in the monumental castle of the former emperor - Castel del Monte.
The line-up includes art, theater, music, literature and multi-media productions. It is both avant gard and fascinating, an event for culture and modern art lovers.
Check the annual calendar for updated information annually on the events.
