Ettore Sammarco Winery

Up in the beautiful town of Ravello, this winery produces some lovely DOC-classified wines from heritage varietals. Here on the Amalfi Coast, there are some grapevines that have been cultivated for centuries, and that are unique only to this difficult terrain. The Sammarco winery has excelled at raising those to a higher level and maintaining their integrity and survival. Founded in 1962, they family has held the torch of these wines high! Come and sample the Costa d'Amalfi DOC vintages that are include little known varietals like Pepella, Bancolella and Ginestrella (whites) and Pie' di Rosso (red). They also make liqueurs using local herbs and fruits, like limoncello (lemon); liquirizia (licorice); fragolina (spring wild strawberries); and melon.

It is located on the SS 373, the road that leads from the Amalfo Coast Road up towards Ravello.
