The delightful fishing village of Capo Mulini is a great place for a seaside lunch or a walk along the shore. The tiny town keeps its old traditional atmosphere, with colorful fishing boats bobbing in the water and a picturesque setting on the Gulf of Catania. It sits at the cape (capo) and was the site of one of the many coastal watch towers built in the 1500s. Now, the old tower is a lighthouse, still protecting the shore.

There are lots of great restaurants serving fresh seafood (brought in by those colorful boats!) and some lava-rock beaches below the lighthouse, and along the shoreline by the port.
