Wrapping around the promontory, the beaches at Capo d'Orlando are some of the best and most beautiful in the Messina area. The point holds a pretty lighthouse on the hill, along with a sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna, and a castle, too! These landmarks lend a pretty backdrop.

The beaches encircle the point and vary from sandy to rocky, so there is something for everyone's taste here. It is also partially undeveloped, so you can enjoy it without much obstructive construction and interruptions -just open vistas along the coast and out to sea. Capo d'Orlando faces the Aeolian Islands, making it even more picturesque. The marina at the village has ferries to the islands, should you want an outing.

Some spots have reefs and rocks in the water, while other places are sandy and shallower. There are free open beaches along with some concessions that rent umbrellas and sun beds and offer lunch and drinks options. The village has restaurants, bars, and gelaterias, along with stores and services.
