July 2007 - Wonderful view from the garden and terrace. We ate all our meals on the terrace.
Great beach and easy parking when we were there.
Mezzanine bedroom did get very warm but downstairs bedroom stayed nice and cool. Well equipped kitchen.
Great service as on previous holiday. Recommended you to a friend who has booked a holiday with you so hope she enjoys it as much as we did.
Travel tips
- Temples at Paestum well worth a visit.
- Pisciotta a pretty town.
- We found eating out was very cheap with good local wine.

August 2006 - Very enjoyable, and exactly what we wanted, but this is for a holiday without children, who would probably be bored by the second day.
The tranquillity, clean air, marvellous view and surrounding beautiful vegetation are all natural benefits of the place.

July 2005 - We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Liliana. The views and sunsets from the terrace were very spectacular - a lovely way to spend the evening after a hard day on the beach!
The area is very interesting with some lovely beaches, both in Ascea and further south towards Palinuro. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Greek ruins at both Paestum & Velia.
See you next year!!!

September 2004 - We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was everything we had hope for, based on the photos - stunning view, quiet location, lovely outdoor terrace/balcony, and good facilities indoors.
The owners were very friendly and helpful - large quantities of fresh tomatoes and figs from the garden! - and in fact all the local people we met in Ascea were equally friendly.
Ascea makes a good base for touring, and we also enjoyed Marina di Ascea, as a small resort town with good beaches, but still feeling relatively unspoilt.
There are plenty of interesting places to visit fairly locally, including some marvellous historical sites nearby at Velia and slightly further at Paestum. We would recommend the caves at Castelcivita, and another time will visit some of the amazing hilltop towns inland.
This was our first time in southern Italy, and we would definitely come back, and to this house in particular.
I didn't know anything about Summer in Italy, having found you literally by searching on the Web. I felt that your descriptions of the properties seemed honest and balanced (and our experience at Villa Liliana confirmed this), and I found the company easy and pleasant to deal with. The information provided was excellent. Thanks for making the whole process enjoyable - I would certainly recommend Summer in Italy to other people.

July 2004 - Excellent Property. Owners very friendly and sharing the vegetable produce from their garden and the recipe for the Zuchini flower fritters was wonderful, if only we could get the ingredients in Ireland.
Very peaceful, and a short drive to the beach which was not crowded and parking very easy.
Sunsets beautiful from balcony and view of Elea-Velia achaelogical ruins beautiful.
Property very spacious, spotless and kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Side balcony nice in the morning, and fountain in this garden great for cooling down.
We were very happy here.
Unfortunately, Villa Liliana A can not be booked at this time.
We would love to help you find a suitable alternative. Please be in touch for personal advice from our staff!
