Perfect property, nice pool
June 2023 - It was the perfect place to stay for visiting all the attractions of the bay of Naples and Amalfi Coast. Beautiful clean apartment with great views from the terrace of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius in the distance.
The host was welcoming and helpful.

September 2022 - We loved it. The place was so clean, quiet, and cozy. The view was amazing and the pool was too.

Very close to city centre yet has a country feel
October 2019 - Very close to city centre yet has a country feel. Surrounded by citrus orchard. Villa Fillide C was clean and modern with a large terrace with table and chairs overlooking Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. Kitchen was adequate but small.
Owners are extremely friendly.
We would stay there again.

October 2019 - Villa Fillide C is a nice and cozy studio apartment featuring a terrace overlooking the yard with orange trees and the village up to the hills. It is located in a very peaceful environment. I can warmly recommend that place.

- The location is great because it is off the crowds and still close to the train or bus (about 12 minutes).
- From there you can reach Napoli and other places of the area.

Villa Fillide C is in a beautiful position, walking distance from shops etc but quiet and peaceful.
The owner speaks English well enough to get by and she is very helpful.

- Don't forget that there's a bus to and from Naples airport that stops in Sant'Agnello.
- There's a rather nice pizza place (used mainly by locals) in walking distance.

October 2018 - This was my third time staying at this villa, the accommodations have always been more than adequate and very clean.
As for Villa Fillide C, the view from the terrace is wonderful, especially early in the morning with the clouds hanging over the mountains and as the sun goes down when lights begin to appear on the surrounding hills. There's also a view of the pool and garden area. Each day I would enjoy my walk down the dirt path through the citrus grove to the "green door" which led to the street. It's the little things that make a place special.
The owners, Lucia and Salvatore, are very helpful and make you feel like family. That's one of the reasons I keep returning.
Summer In Italy, you're beginning to feel like family too. I appreciate your prompt answers to any questions I have had. You all do a wonderful job. Just keep doing what you're doing!
Travel tips
- I always walk to and from town and beyond to the Restaurant La Terrazza which overlooks the sea and the beach. Beautiful view and great food.
- Right after you cross Corso Italia there is a shop on the right where you can purchase bus tickets, the shop keeper is very nice.
- The buses don't always run on time.
- Bacchanalia is a wine shop where you can purchase excellent local wine by the liter.
- There's a nice grocery store called Superò on the street to the left after you pass the Municipio building on Corso Italia. They have everything you need if you want to fix your own meals while staying at the villa.
- If you'd like a massage have Lucia make an appointment with Alma Beauty and Wellness Center. Carolina gives a fantastic massage.
- It's become a tradition to stop at Tony's Bar on the piazza in front of the church in Sant'Agnello for coffee in the morning to start the day, and a glass of wine before heading up the hill to the villa in the evening. It's a great place just to sit, relax, and watch people.
- I don't usually do tours, but last trip I contacted a Caseificio in Piano di Sorrento and scheduled a tour of their cheese factory, a small local winery and a limoncello factory. It was well worth.
- I've taken several day trips during my visits. The train to Pompeii, Herculaneum and the excavations of Oplontis. I also took the ferry to Capri, Ischia, Positano and Amalfi. All are very beautiful and special in their own way.

July 2018 - Villa Fillide C is a beautiful place to stay, it is very quaint inside, with a large balcony supplied with sun loungers and chairs.
It was very picturesque and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

- Lucia [the owner] is wonderful, very helpful, accommodating and nothing is too much bother.
- Apartment is situated up a hill, we did not hire a car. Takes about 10 mins to walk to train station and most nights we took a taxi home.
- The villa is wonderful and pool was great.
- Sorrento is the next stop on the train, Sant'Agnello is quieter than Sorrento which was great.

August 2017 - Villa Fillide C is situated 25 minute easy walk into Sorrento. Regular bus and train services if you don't fancy walking.
It is a lovely apartment with everything we required for a 10 night stay. View from the balcony was amazing of the sea and the mountains. Swimming pool area was lovely, lots of sun loungers and parasols.
Very quiet location, perfect for relaxing.
The owners were great, they even dropped us off at the bus stop at 6 am on the day we left.
SummerInItaly gave good service. Communication was excellent, the information pack we received before we went was very useful. We would book with you again.

- Take insect repellent! I got bitten loads but my other half didn't.

July 2016 - We thought that Fillide C was much better than we anticipated and excellent value for money. You don't get a sense of how nice the pool and surrounding deck chair area is purely on the basis of the website photos alone.
The location was in hindsight great, given that the town and busy main road were noisy.
The owners were very friendly and invited me to taste their home made red wine (which was benissimo!) The owners also gave us good advice on walking into Sorrento.
All I would say is that the shower unit was a little rickety and prone to falling apart. There was also a slight lack of surface area with which to cook and prepare food (and I did have a bit of an accident).
On the whole, a really enjoyable holiday.
Keep on doing what you are doing. Everything worked very well for us and we would have no hesitation in booking another holiday with you in the future.
Travel tips
- Be patient with the shower unit.
- Take advice from the owners on the shortcuts available into Sorrento as well as where to shop for food/drink.
- At first it seems as though there are no suitable restaurants in Sant'Agnello, but we eventually found two good ones down a side street leading the coast (one with a great sea view).
- We would recommend doing the boat trip to Positano and Amalfi. However, these places were far more expensive to eat/drink than Sorrento.

July 2016 - The villa is situated at a quiet beautiful location: in the middle of lemonyard. When you having breakfast at your own terrace you have the ultimate holiday feeling.
From Sant'Agnello it is a short drive to the other coastside to visit Positano with the nicest, relaxed beachfront bars.
The owners of Villa Fillide C are very friendly, helpful and speak good English. We love their limoncello!

August 2015 - Villa Fillide C is a great property, well maintained and extremely clean.
The elevated position provides excellent views of the sea and mountains and the location means it's only a short walk into Sant'Agnello.
Although small, Villa Fillide C has everything you need and is extremely comfortable.
Travel tips
- A car is a nice to have but is not essential as a walk downhill to the train station takes 7 minutes and buses run frequently too.
- Only tip is make sure you have plenty of mosquito spray as they are rife, as are horse flies due to the wonderful lemon groves situated next to the property.

Owners were very friendly (gifts of fresh oranges & lemons from their grove, limoncello) and helpful.
Lovely setting (pictures don't really do it justice). Lots to do and see. Close to transport links. Very relaxing. Quiet but with good proximity to attractions.
