July 2009 - A stunning ideal location, tranquil, with everything we needed in the apartment.

The rooms were clean and Maria and Antonietta were great for offering advice on the local area.

This was our first trip and we will definitely be returning.

Travel tips

  • You will need a car.
  • Check out the small restaurant/pizzeria in Porciano. The food is great and the view breathtaking
  • Taking the train to Florence is easier than driving, and trains run half-hourly from Pistoia. The tour bus is useful for taking in all the sights of Florence.
  • Visit San Gimignano and Lucca.
  • Don't bother with the Pinocchio Park at Collodi,

June 2007 - We really enjoyed our stay. It was very beautiful, picturesque and homey.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, as it was in the middle between Pisa and Florence.

Travel tips

  • Vinci was a wonderful place to visit as well as San Gimignano.
  • The wine tour that we booked through CAF in Florence was not worth it.

Unfortunately, Villa Filippa B can not be booked at this time.
