Very comfortable villa

May 2018 - We liked the villa and we were very comfortable. It was very good to have two bathrooms.

All the information and the directions were very helpful. A friend recommended Summer In Italy to me, as they had found a villa on the Amalfi coast through it.

Fantastic

August 2015 - Wonderful experience. Have not holidayed in mainland Europe for many years. The family who own the property and live on site are wonderfully welcoming and flexible, a complete joy to be their guests. We were a family of three, myself, wife and 18yr old daughter. I am more used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels/resorts, but this apartment worked perfectly. My main message is that the overall experience was great and we did not want to leave and in fact were trying to change our flight in order to stay a few extra days, but in the end the logistics did not work out.

The apartment is basic but functional and to be honest we did not spend much time in it. Probably my only criticisms would be a bed mattress that was too soft and I like hard mattresses, and the apartment is a little dark inside/lacks natural light. However as the sun was shining all the time and the temperatures souring, probably most place in Italy do all they can to keep the light and the sun out of the living areas.

The pool is brilliant and we had this 20 meter pool and wonderful deck all to ourselves (only one other apartment on the property and the people who came only used the pool for 30 minutes a day and were not sun bathers). The view from the pool/sun deck is brilliant looking down on Sorrento and neighboring towns and then out to sea. Vesuvius and other mountains and hills all around. Would be hard to ask for a better view.

The owners had great advice on local restaurants and i have to say that the food was amazing. WiFi was available in local cafe 5 minutes walk away. I certainly hope that I/we return to Crispina soon.
