July 2022 - Villa Castello is a total paradise!

It is so well appointed, beautifully decorated and is so well looked after.

We had a fantastic week at the Villa, so much so that we found excuses not to leave it much, and spent most of our time enjoying the pool and the well appointed relaxing areas.

The staff: Maria and Jose were fantastic, and couldn't have been more obliging and helpful. Maria's truffle pasts was sublime!

We will definitely revisit Villa Castello in the future.

The Villa's house wines are fantastic and great value.

Travel tips

  • If arriving on Saturday ensure you have some provisions for Sunday lunch and Sunday evening, as the the shops and restaurants in Castelfiorentino close up completely for Sunday. Arrange with the housekeeper beforehand to purchase provisions for those meals.
