October 2022 - We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The accommodation was excellent and really suited us as large family group. The views were stunning.

I found the noise from the road a bit much but none of the other guests noticed this so maybe it was just me. Apart from that everything was great.

I came across Summer in Italy while looking for accommodation for our small family wedding. They were so helpful and made organising accommodation for 20 people so easy. The price was very good for the standard of accommodation. Would highly recommend.

Travel tips

  • You will need to hire a car as the road is too dangerous to walk on.
  • There is a shop two minutes away (the people in it are lovely) and a restaurant which serves excellent food at very reasonable prices (staff very patient with out lack of Italian).
  • Sorrento is just fabulous.

June 2022 - We had 10 couples for a week at the Villa Berenice Grande. It was a "trip of a lifetime"!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and the owner was very accommodating. The view from the pool was awesome.

Summer in Italy were wonderful to work with and I can not praise them enough. They answered my every question with professionalism.

April 2022 - We had the best ever holiday at the Villa Berenice Grande. It was a family reunion 14 adults and 5 children. It was the perfect location, all our needs were anticipated. It was like owning our own private hotel in the most perfect location in all the world.

We found lovely restaurants nearby, including two-star Michelin dining, the trips to Vesuvius, Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii, Sorrento and the shopping.

We recommend unreservedly Summer in Italy, who were just superb in preparing us for our Holiday of a lifetime. Many thanks to all the staff there.

Travel tips

  • Do go down to Sant'Agata and find the Slow food Restaurant. I cannot remember the name but the people there will live in our memories forever. The owner is a sommelier and President of the new Slow Food Movement, Organic everything and properly cooked food. I called it the zz Restaurant.
