October 2022 - The view from this villa is unparalleled. The villa is spacious and clean. There are over 100 stairs so you need to be able to do this to stay here!
The biggest highlight to the villa, though, in my opinion, is Alesso and Martina, the villa property managers. They are SUPER helpful with any questions you may have. These include non-villa related questions like bus tickets, directions, boat rentals etc. They were amazing and so accommodating. The housekeeper was also a gem and it was lovely to have fresh laundry every day!
We went late Sept and the weather was cool so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful pool. I will rebook for July/Aug when we go back. We have stayed here twice now and LOVE the villa, however, if you want to be downtown this is not the villa for you. The bus is unreliable and the cabs are an abomination - they charge 50-80 Euro's for a 7 min drive into the town of Amalfi.

Travel tips
- The local market is great but be prepared for an uphill trek. You can drive, but the roads are very narrow and steep. We hired a driver for a couple days - wise choice.
- Candida, the property manager, was wonderful - very helpful in arranging anything we needed.
- Many wonderful towns nearby - Amalfi, Ravello, Positano... Great shopping and viewing the scenery.
- History lovers MUST get a tour of Pompeii.

- Ask for the possibility of pre-order a few items of food and drink to get you started at the villa. In that way you will have something there when you arrive. Candida was indeed so helpful that she was able to organize the shopping for us once we provided a list.

June 2013 - Villa Albadoro was an excellent place to stay with a group of friends and or family. The pool was fantastic, as were the views.
The housekeeper was wonderful, and very helpful with anything and everything you need. The villa was clean and tidy and had all that you could want, including a great kitchen to cook for one or 12. It is close to some great restaurants, all of which were friendly and welcoming.
We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Travel tips
- We recommend hiring the boat from friend of the owner of the villa, and cruising to the Isle of Capri.
- Restaurant Al Pesce D'oro is a good place to eat and will help arrange for taxi's and bus timetable's.
