August 2019 - Brilliant, quaint little flat/home in the side of a cliff about a kilometer above Amalfi. The view is amazing even though it's slightly obscured by a rather large olive tree and you can't actually see Amalfi from the terrace, but the Amalfi Coast scene itself is more than beautiful enough.
Kitchen is small but fairly well equipped and more than enough to allow for cooking, but we ate out several nights anyway, and there is a cute little gas hob outside on the terrace that we used to cook pasta with a view. Bedroom is more than enough, with comfortable bed (fairly firm but great for a bad back). Bathroom lovely and essentially carved into the rock. No shower but more than adequate bath with shower head.
Overall a perfect stay for our 6-nights visit, thank you very much!
Very easy check in/out with incredibly amicable host, who let us use the gardens for fresh tomatoes and lemons.
Great service all round, really appreciated all the information we were given with our booking.
Travel tips
- There's a market about a 5 minutes walk up the road which has all the essentials.
- The Pogerola bus will get you home from the centre of Amalfi in about 15 mins.

August 2019 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay once we got our mind around the fact that we are not staying in a hotel... Then we appreciated the benefits our little unit provided. As the days went by we enjoyed it more and more.
You cannot sit on a terrace overlooking the sea and just reach out and pick a lemon off the tree and squeeze it into your limoncello in a hotel or walk outside in the morning and pick a couple of tomatoes to add to your eggs for breakfast. Fantastic!

- Grocery store walking distance. Very handy when you don't want to go out.
- Bus in front of the apartment. Very easy to take and go everywhere.
- Parking space, very rare in Amalfi so super important if you have a car.

What a lovely apartment!
May 2018 - What a lovely apartment to stay in near Amalfi. Close enough to walk to Amalfi but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. Very convenient.
Beautiful view over the lemon groves along the coast east and west.
The host was friendly, kind and helpful.
The apartment was very clean and neat. The amenities were convenient and easy to use. Coffee in the morning and aperitivo in the evening on the terrace were real highlights of our holiday.
Overall, I would highly recommend this vacation apartment.
Travel tips
- Driving is fun but the bus system along the coast, Sita Bus, is a very convenient, inexpensive and easy way to get around to almost all the sights you want to see in the area.
- We would recommend a visit to Paestum, Anacapri, and hiking on the marked trails above Amalfi and Positano. Ravello is lovely too.

September 2015 - We enjoyed our stay at Casa dei Cappuccini B. The place was clean and tidy and it was easy to walk down to Amalfi town centre and buses back were cheap and frequent.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Summer In Italy have been very helpful and clear. Keep up the good work!
