Villa Violaciocca, Positano

Villa Violaciocca is an elegant and welcoming villa located in an isolated position, on the slopes of a hill which is covered with olive groves. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Violaciocca you will enjoy an enchanting view of Positano and of the sea at a distance. Villa Violaciocca is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a wide private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 3.5 km (2.2 miles) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find a grocery store at 300 meters (990 feet) and the stop for Flavio Gioia bus Positano - Montepertuso - Nocelle line a few meters (feet) away. You will reach Villa Violaciocca from the parking area going down a short private walkway that includes approximately 40 stairway steps.

For a succesful stay at Villa Violaciocca we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it nearby, free of charge in a reserved parking space. The parking space is suitable for up to two cars.

The above-ground swimming pool has a sinuous shape, has a diameter of 5 meters (16 feet) and is deep from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.4 meters (4.6 feet). The pool area is fenced. It is an infinity pool, has a whirlpool corner and has a cervical hydromassage shower. The area is equipped with an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of Positano and of the sea at a distance. The pool is open from mid-May until the end of October.

The terrace is 130 square meters (1400 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with tables, chairs, sun loungers and a swing. Here you will also find a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast.

The furnishings of the living room are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a sofa and two armchairs. They include a rocking chair. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of Positano and of the sea at a distance through two double-glazed French doors. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room through an arched opening. It is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate six guests.

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The furnishings include a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board.

The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
