Casa Freia, Positano

Casa Freia is a cozy and welcoming independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps five people. From Casa Freia you will enjoy a marvelous view of Positano and of the sea. Casa Freia is 65 square meters (700 square feet). It features two panoramic private terraces, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be approximately 800 meters (half a mile) from the center of Positano, where you will find restaurants and shops. You will find the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Positano line at 250 meters (820 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile). You will reach Casa Freia from the street level going up approximately 35 stairway steps. Because of the street below, at times some traffic noise can be heard.

You will not need a car to stay at Casa Freia. If you do have one, you will be able to park it downtown, for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).

The first terrace is 18 square meters (194 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a characteristic bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of Positano, of the sea and of the street below.

The second terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. The terrace is equipped with a bench, as well as with a table, two deck chairs and an external shower. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of Positano, of the sea and of the street below.

The living room is paved with tiles with inlaid designs. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. Here you will find a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the first terrace through a French door. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the first terrace. The room has a window with a view of the sea and of Positano.

You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, decorated with majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. Here you will also find a washing machine.

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom has a small window. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.
