Trattoria La Gargotta

In the hills above Bagno a Ripoli, this family-run restaurant has been in business for more than 50 years. The homey eatery serves an authentic taste of Tuscany in a nice, rustic-type setting with great views. Try the pork roast cooked in Chianti wine, the hand-rolled pici pasta with duck sauce, or the famed thick, perfectly grilled Fiorentina steak. Everything is homemade. There is a nice terrace for dining outside in good weather with views on the Tuscan countryside.
