Outside Porto Rotondo at Punta Volpe, this beach is a little paradise with a mix of sand, pebbles and reef, surrounded by macchia brush. The beach has amber sand that at certain times in the light looks white. There are some pebbles, and then rocks, hence the name -"sassi" means rocks. There is low reef in parts. The beach is partly free and open, and part is operated by a concession that rents umbrellas and sun beds and provides snacks, drinks and restaurant service.
