A seaside frazione of Fasano, Savelletri has a pretty port with beaches and great dining options. Enjoy some fresh fish just brought in by the fishermen and stroll along the seafront. There is a little waterfront church with Templar symbols, and a laid-back fishing hamlet feel.

The church is dedicated to the patron saint, San Francesca da Paola, and his feast day is celebrated in grand style on the second Sunday of August with a procession by sea of boats, and a sagra food festival of swordfish.

It's worth a visit to Savelletri for its atmosphere, and for the seafood! Here, you can even eat right at the fishmonger's!
