Right near the port at San Nicola a Mare is a sandy beach with crystal-clear water that is off the main tourist path. There is a section that offers umbrellas and sun beds (at a fee) and sections that are free and open access -bring your own umbrella and beach blanket.

Branching off in either direction along the curve of the shore, you'll find rocky or pebble areas of uncrowded free beach, too, if you prefer more solitude. The beaches of Agnone are very closeby, too, just a short walk along the waterfront.
