Salicerchie Beach

Located just after the center of Maiori and the Norman tower inthe direction of Erchie, it is reached by a staircase of 160 steps.Sandy and rocky beach in a cove tucked between the rocks. Most of it is dominated by the beach umbrellas and chairs you can rent, though there is a small tract of free beach. Emerald water and some sea grottoes you can swim to. One is called Grotta Suffregna, with a natural sulpher-rich hot spring that bubbles from the rock.

Water in the cove is deep. The beach is also sometimes referred to as Acquachiara, for the concession and snack bar there.
