Rocca di Frassinello Winery, Wine Tasting in Tuscany, Italy

An interesting place where archeology and modern architecture meet wine making. The Rocca di Frassinello winery also boasts a great archeological find -the necropolis of San Germano. So, a visit here lets you sample excellent wines, while also visiting an archeological site and seeing some of the artifacts excavated. The site was discovered during a project by the winery group, and proved to be an important find, part of the ancient Etruscan city of Vetulonia.

The wines, of course, the focus and made to excellent standards. They have a special one for this site, a limited Etruscan Edition wine. There is a variety of tasting and tour options, including an Etruscan theme.

Summer Hours: From 10:00 AM til 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM til 7:00 PM
