Ristorante Cantina dell'Arte

In an unassuming alleyway in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno is a bright and welcoming restaurant. Across the street from the hotel of the same name, the restaurant is located behind the main post office. Here you'll find the area's specialties served nicely at good prices. You'll find local classics as well as imaginative dishes here, so there is something for everyone. Be sure to start with the stuffed olives, Ascoli's signature dish, made in-house. Rice or pasta highlight the primi piatti, while you can choose fish or meat for the main course (being close to the sea gives them prime choice of both seafood and hill cuisine!) The house wine is locally-produced, though there is a wine list of regional vintages, too.
