Restaurant La Luna nel Pozzo

High in the hills near Arezzo, La Luna nel Pozzo serves typical Tuscan fare in charming surroundings. The restaurant is in a tiny medieval stone hamlet where the buildings date back to the 1300s and have been carefully restored.

This little eatery occupies two stone rooms with wood beams and working fireplace with a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere. There is a terrace for outdoor dining in the summer with views over the surrounding hills.

The menu changes regularly according to season but might include specialties like homemade tagliatelle noodles with porcini mushrooms or with wild boar sauce. Thin-sliced beef with mushrooms or rosemary, or the famed bistecca fiorentina are worthy main courses to try. Desserts are hand-made in house, too.
