The beaches of Punta Secca are varied, so you can choose the arch of sand right in town, the reefs or sandy spots along the long lungomare walkway that reaches outside of town.

In town, the most famous beach is called Spiaggia di Montalbano, well noted because of its many appearances in the Italian TV series Commissario Montalbano. It is right below the "casa di Montalbano" and reached easily from within town.

Next, heading east, is the Anticaglie beach, which is sandy and a bit wider, with free beach as well as a lido concession that provides sun beds and umbrellas, plus a restaurant and snack bar.

Next is the Kaucana Beach (also spelled Caucana), named for an ancient archeology area located in this area. A seafront walkway from Anticaglie leads to that part. The beach is sandy, and again, there are free sections as well as some lido concessions available. Farther along are rocks and reefs, for those who like to snorkel.
