Pietratorcia Winery and Restaurant

Ischia's wine-making tradition dates back centuries, and a great place to sample it is at Pietratorcia. Hugging the hillside above Forio, the terraced levels of vines look down at the sparkling sea. Reserve a tour of the cantina and tasting, that lets you experience their wines accompanied by traditional local products, too.

Even better, book a table at the small restaurant to really get a taste of Ischia. After your winery tour, you can sit down and sample the island's specialties like rabbit all'Ischiatana, fresh seafood and more. (Reservations are required, though!) It is an intimate place that brings out the best Ischia has to offer in a beautiful and homey setting.
