Take a trip back in time to learn about the age-old process of winemaking in the Salento. The museum of the Muia family is housed in an old "palmento" stone wine cellar, where generations made wine the traditional way. See the equipement and the cycle of wine making, which in the Salento dates back to the ancient Greeks.

There are barrels, presses and instruments used in the vinification, along with a library of labels, books and brochures that provide documentary history of the wines of the Salento. It is tucked into the historic center of Parabita.
