Osteria Il Pozzo

Osteria Il Pozzo is a small restaurant right on the piazza in Menaggio, a village along the shore of Lake Como. It's nothing fancy, just a home-style place that serves good food at good prices.

House specialties include pappardelle al cinghiale (fettuccini-type noodles in wild boar sauce); ravioli in walnut sauce; and gnocchi with gorgonzola. Lake trout and roasted veal are popular main dishes.
