Osteria di Casa Chianti

Casa di Chianti is really that - a country house in the Chianti hills that serves up "Chianti Food Experiences" in a beautiful setting. Really, it doesn't get more panoramic than their terrace, with its view over the vineyard-lined hills. It's especially beautiful at sunset. The emphasis is on local products, like regional salami and cheese and locally-raised meat and forest truffles. Handmade pasta, and a wine list that carries only Tuscan vintages gives you an authentic sampling of Chianti's dishes.

But it's more, because they offer cooking classes, too, and have a wine shop where you buy and have them ship it home for you.

Open for dinner; on Sunday for lunch. Other days lunch is by request. They organize special dinners or parties on request. Closed Monday. You can reserve online.
