With rare specimens and a huge variety, the minerology museum will be a hit with geology-lovers and science buffs. Housed in the 17th century ex-convent of the Holy Trinity and Paradise, visitors can peruse a collection of minerals gathered over a period of more than 50 years of painstaking research by local engineer Pasquale Discepolo. Fossils fill the paleontology section while precious stones, minerals and shells add incredible luster and interest to the main collection.

It is a fascinating glimpse into the natural world, interesting to kids and adults, alike.
