Motorcycle enthusiasts will want to visit the Moto Guzzi Museum, a place that pays homage to the historic machines. Located on Lake Como in Mandello del Lario where the mythical motorcycles are manufactured, the museum is open very limited times but is a highlight for those who love them.

On display are about 150 examples, including the first one made in 1919, sporty models, experimental prototypes, and special series. There is a film about the history of the motorcycles that powered post-war mobility in Italy and the company that re-invented the concept of sport motorcycles in the 1960s. There is a bookstore and an archives, as well.

The Moto Guzzi Museum is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM til 4:00 PM. In July it is open from 2:30 PM til 4:30 PM. Admission is free. The museum is located in the lakeside town of Mandello del Lario, on Lake Como.
